My love,

Today is 20/10, the day we celebrate the women who hold everything together. For me, that woman has always been you.

I don’t say this enough, so I’m writing it down: thank you.

Thank you for every morning I get to wake up next to you. Seeing you is the first good thing in my day, and I never want to take it for granted. Thank you for being patient with me when I’m tired, distracted or stubborn. Thank you for making our home feel like home.

I still think about our first time going out together. We had dinner, then went for coffee, and I didn’t want the night to end. I was nervous and trying hard not to show it. I had no idea that day was the start of everything. I know now.

I’m not good with words, but the ordinary days with you are the best part of my life. I see how much you give, to me, to our family and to everyone around you, and I want to give more back to you.
